SERP Snippet Checker
See exactly where Google will cut your title and meta description, measured in pixels rather than characters — and get the corrected tags to paste.
42.3% of the 104 live sites we audited have a missing or wrong-length meta description; 22.1% get the title length wrong. Both are one edit away from fixed.
How to use
Paste your title and description, add the page URL and an optional target keyword. The tool measures both strings in pixels at the width a desktop result page renders them, slices them on a word boundary the way Google does, and shows the truncated snippet as it will actually appear. Warnings list each string that gets cut, each one that is too short to be useful, and a keyword that appears in neither field.
FAQ
Character counting is the reason the usual 60/160 advice fails: Google cuts at roughly 580px for a title and 920px for a description, so a string of capital letters gets cut far earlier than the same number of narrow ones. CJK glyphs are close to twice the advance width, which is why a 30-character Chinese title can be cut while a 60-character Latin one is fine, and those get their own thresholds. The truncation is done on the last word boundary that still fits, so what you see is what the result page shows, not an estimate of a character count.
